Sparkling Sundays
When: Every Sunday, right at sunset, with live music from 4-7 p.m.
Oceanside’s sunsets are nothing short of magical, so it only makes sense that they’re celebrated every night at The Shore Room by sabering champagne. That’s right, every single evening — right as the sun sets — The Shore Room team kicks off the night by sabering a bottle of champagne with the Pacific Ocean sparkling in the distance. Vinyl & Vines
When: Every Wednesday from 5-8 p.m.
Beat the mid-week slump by making your way to The Shore Room on Wednesday evenings to unwind with free wine tastings paired with live DJs spinning classic vinyl. If you’re looking for a local spot to relax in style, while sampling some truly tasty wines, this is your place. Tastings are free, with wines by the glass and bottles also available for purchase. Yappy Hour
When: Every Friday from 4-7 p.m.
Oceanside is definitely a pet-friendly destination (get a taste of what you can do with dogs in Oceanside here), and The Seabird Resort is no exception. Along with offering pet-friendly stays, the hotel welcomes dogs every Friday for Yappy Hour at The Shore Room! Bring your furry friend, sit back, relax, and sip cocktails featuring Tito’s Vodka as you take in the beachfront sunset with Fido. For every specialty cocktail, $1 is donated to Surfers for Strays, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting stray animals in Mexico.
Dogs can get their fill too with dishes from the specially prepared dog menu, such as chicken breast, a 1909 Burger Patty, or boneless ribeye steak, each served with rice, a “Pupcake” — a sugar-free, dog-friendly mini cupcake — and infused waters.
In town on December 16? Don’t miss bringing your dog to Yappy Hour, complete with Santa pics for your pup.
Of course, you can always enjoy The Shore Room’s locally sourced dishes, drinks, and views Monday to Friday from 3-10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 12-10 p.m. Plus, there are plenty of other events and activities happening at The Seabird each day.
