Available for all ages and skill levels, the 1.5-hour lessons from Barr’s North County Surf Academy are available daily by appointment.

Oceanside has long drawn in surfers and the ever-evolving sport is all on display at the California Surf Museum. Opened in 1986, the well-curated museum is known for its permanent collection covering the history of surfboards and wave-riding, as well as intriguing rotating exhibits diving deeper into different aspects of surfing’s past, present, and future. Plus, it’s just a block and a half away from The Seabird.
